Summer is Here! is your Stroller Safe?

We are finally enjoying beautiful weather here in Ohio. That means outdoor activites with the family. Take a few minutes to look over your stroller for any defects that could cause injury this summer. Pay particular attention to;

* Lap belts for security of attachment

* fabric / textiles of any rips or tears

* Inspect the entire frame for deformations

* Inspect the wheel assemblies for security of attachment

These are things that can be easily overlooked when using the Pram for the first time after a long winter. Over 10,000 injuries are reported yearly due to stroller accidents. Some of these injuries are contributed to Prams that were unsafe. Lets all take a moment now to inspect our strollers and address any defects before an injury occurs.

Choosing The Perfect Spram for Babies

So you have a little one on the way and your preparing for that amazing day. There is alot of preparing that goes into getting everything set just perfectly. One of the larger purchases made during this time is choosing a pram for the new addition. This can be a daunting task given the large amout of products out there for baby transport. Fear not, this is a good thing since it means you have more choices available then even just 10 years ago. Safety standards are better nowadays too. Here are some basic considerations;

* Price

* Size. Most sprams fold up into a nice package

* Consider the Terrian to be traveled over. Need off road tires?

* Multi child options?

* Ease of cleaning. Machine washable textiles make things easier

* Onboard storage area. A Must have!

* Easy to operate, fold and swivel.

Alittle research in the above topics will save some headache in the future. You do not want to get stuck on a off road walking trail with a tiny urban spram made to fit nicely on a subway. While these purchases tend to be somewhat pricey, they will pay off in the long run. A well built spram will last a long time and who know, maybe your children will be able to use it for thier children. Find more information at babiesprams.com
